Walking in Joshua's Footsteps

Follow the path of conquest and discover how Israel became the Jewish homeland.

Mamilla Mall - entrance to Karta Parking lot

Service Description

How did the Jewish people transform from a nation wandering in the wilderness into a people settled in their own land? Join us as we follow the footsteps of Yehoshua bin Nun and explore some of the most important sites associated with the conquest and settlement of the Land of Israel. Standing at Beit Horon, Gezer, and Lachish, we will examine the military campaigns, leadership challenges, and spiritual mission that defined the generation that entered the Land. This tour explores more than military history. We will discuss what it means to inherit a homeland, the balance between faith and action, and how the conquest of the Land fulfilled promises first given to Avraham centuries earlier. Sites Visited • Beit Horon • Gezer • Lachish Conquest, Settlement, and the Fulfilment of the Covenant
