Return After Exile

Discover the modern return to the heartland of Israel after centuries of exile.

Mamila Mall - Entrance to Karta parking lot

Service Description

The story of redemption did not end with the return from Babylon. It continues in our own generation. This tour explores the remarkable story of Jewish return to Gush Etzion and Judea following nearly two thousand years of exile. We will examine the pioneers, visionaries, and communities that rebuilt Jewish life in places once described only in Tanach and prayer. From strategic viewpoints overlooking Jerusalem to the symbolic Lone Tree and the renewed communities of Gush Etzion, we will explore the relationship between Jewish memory, sovereignty, and national restoration. How does the modern return to the Land fit into the broader story of Jewish history? What sacrifices were made to rebuild these communities? And what responsibilities accompany the privilege of living once again in our ancestral homeland? Sites Visited • Ari Fuld Lookout • Oz VeGaon Nature Park • Sovereignty Institute • Lone Tree • Kfar Etzion The Return of a Nation to Its Land
